FLASH!!!! PENNY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!

"Making a world of difference, for one red dog at a time".

Penny is a Finnish Spitz currently in foster care for the Heart of America Humane Society in Kansas City, MO. Sue Randall is Penny's foster mom and she says that Penny is about 6 years old. She gets along with other animals, but is possessive about FOOD. She is talkative and loves to be petted and loved. Penny has been vet checked and is in good health except for her special need for a family to help her with her weight. She came to the shelter very overweight, but since arriving she has lost 10 lbs. Penny is looking for an understanding and caring family that will help her continue to work on reducing her weight.

Sue, her foster mom, has this to say about Penny:

"To call her "feisty" would be an understatement. She will pick up her toys and throw them at you to get you to play with her. She has quite a personality. Course you know about her demanding nature and the fact that she's very vocal about her needs. She really loves the big rawhide chews and her Kong toy. She likes to fetch a small football or tennis ball. "

If you think you can provide Penny with the loving home she so desperately deserves, please contact her foster mom, Sue Randall. Her email is:
